Last Call for Trex Recyclables!
This month, as we celebrate Earth Day, we are also reaching
the end of our Trex Recycling Challenge. We have been going strong since
November and have collected over 900 lbs of plastics already! That’s
amazing!!! Currently, Douglas is one of the top participating
Massachusetts schools and we have a great chance of winning the grand prize of
a beautiful bench, crafted from recyclable materials, for our schools. Let’s
make one last push to put us over the top!
Our last
collection day will be Tuesday, April 14th. Drop off your plastics at the
collection bins in the Primary and Elementary School vestibules anytime before
that deadline, or bring it with you to the PTO Scholastic Book Fair on either
Monday or Tuesday.
