STEM Week at the Primary!
Massachusetts STEM Week Oct 21-25, 2019
It is a statewide effort to boost the interest, awareness and ability for all learners to envision themselves in STEM education and employment opportunities, and compliment the formal instruction happening in the Commonwealth beyond STEM week.Why is STEM important in Massachusetts?
STEM jobs and industries are vital to the Massachusetts economy, creating good jobs and a growing number of opportunities statewide as Massachusetts invests strongly in STEM industries.
- 600,000 Massachusetts residents (17% of total MA workforce) work in STEM.
- STEM jobs are expected to account for 25% of the total employment growth in the Commonwealth over the next ten years.

Flashing lights on a bus or school van means STOP!! We want our children safe as they load, unload and walk to their destination. Many cars have ignored the school van's flashing lights while loading and unloading at the Primary School- please STOP and WAIT for the safety of our children!
