We still have lots of snowbanks but we did manage to get outside for some exercise and fresh air!










Readathon Winners- Classes with the most minutes logged reading won a popsicle party with the Principal!

Students in Mrs. Berthiaume's first grade class enjoyed making a leprechaun and used descriptive words to write about their leprechaun!





Kindergarten students and teachers were all in green!!!











Congratulations to Mrs. Kristine Blatchford! Mrs. Blatchford has been selected by the District Administration to receive the 2015 BVCC Promising Practices Award. She will be honored at a breakfast on May 15th at the Asa Waters Mansion.



Grade 1 Math
Standard 1.NBT 3- Number and Operations in Base Ten, understanding place value.
Students in Grade 1 are working on the skill of comparing two-digit numbers using the symbols for greater than, less than, or equal to.

Kindergarten Math
Standard K.OA 1-Understand addition as putting together and adding to, and understand subtraction as taking apart and taking from. 

Students in Mrs. King's class modeled subtraction using drawings.









Preschool Open House 

Thank you  Mrs. Flayhan and Mrs. Kelly for providing parents and children the opportunity to visit the Preschool classrooms!

Applications for Preschool are available and are due no later than April 16, 2015 for the 2015-2016 school year.

The second trimester Report Cards will be available on iParent on Monday, March 23, 2015. Under iParent, click on Competency Report Card and you will see the grades. Go to My Documents to view and print a PDF hard copy of your child's report card. If you have any questions, please call the Primary School for assistance.

Want to help, but don't have time to shop? Simply send in cash or check made out to the PTO with your classroom's theme and they'll do the shopping for you! Donations are due by Monday, March 23.


DPAC- Social Thinking speaker Nancy Clements will be coming to our District on Monday, March 23rd from 7 to 8 pm. The presentation will be held at the Elementary School library.
