John Kelleher, a graduate of Boston State College with a B.S. in Elementary Education, was a fourth grade teacher in Everett, Massachusetts for over ten years. During these years, John also performed musical comedy throughout the Boston area. Coming from a musically talented family, John has an innate appreciation and respect for the connection between music and its effect on children’s development.
Since leaving the teaching profession in 1989, John has become a recognized name in the Children’s music industry. Performing over 200 shows annually, John has attained national and international prominence with highly acclaimed performances across the United States and Canada, including back-by-popular demand performances at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa, FL; Andy Griffith Playhouse, Mount Airy, NC; Bethlehem Musikfest in Bethlehem, PA; Longwood Gardens in Philadelphia, PA; and countless theaters, festivals, and community performances across North America.
Thanks to our Police Chief Nick Miglionico, Resource Officer Brett Fulone, Officer Tony Yannino, and Officer Jake Bloniasz for greeting our students Friday morning with a "Fist Bump!"
