Fundraising around the District

Throughout the year, the Douglas Public Schools is fortunate to have so many dedicated organizations have fundraisers for the benefit of our students.

There are many times, where these fundraisers are only advertised to those of us associated with a particular school - but others may want to help out! For instance, if you would like a Holiday Wreath, the Primary/ Elementary School is selling them! Celebration Graduation Parents recently hosted a Girls Night Out at the Grill on Main which was a nice get together for some food, drinks and shopping.

We would like to advertise for the groups that are selling items and let people know what is available to support our schools.

If you are a member of an organization (affiliated with one of our schools) and would like your event listed, please email Mrs. Brown at: sbrown1@douglasps.net or ask the secretary at your school to have it posted on the fundraising page.

The Primary School was pleased to honor over 40 Veterans and guests with a breakfast and a special performance by our students. Students sang the following songs: You're a Grand Ole Flag, America the Beautiful, My Country 'tis of Thee, and See the Veteran.
Thank you to our PTO for providing a wonderful breakfast for the Veterans. Special thanks to PTO parents: Tiffany Ouillette, Joanne Lague, and Jill Nason for helping set up the buffet and serving the food. Another Thank you to Lisa McGloin for volunteering her time in the cafeteria.
